This film was first relased on VHS on January 1, 1998.

The film is a series of vinettes with the premise that a minister who performed the marriage ceremonies for the main characters was not legally a minister when he performed the marriages.

His Lordship appears in the role of Mr. Graves, a dour radio program manager. Lord Buckley in an interview with Studs Terkel called this film "a long, interesting stinker."

The film features Marilyn Monroe, Ginger Rodgers and Fred Allen.
